Anna is a Smith grad with a BA in East Asian Studies and minor in Economics. She grew up in Massachusetts and enjoys planning her next food, travel and museum adventure. During her free time, she volunteers at the MFA and to a variety of local organizations such as Organization of Chinese Americans/New England, Boston Smith College Club, Taste of the Nation, Asian American Diabetes Initiative-Spoonful of Ginger, NAAAP, as well as Ricesticks & Tea Asian Food Pantry.

She has a professional background in business and operations management where she oversaw the construction, operations and business development of a high-tech 18,000sq.ft business incubator. Her experience also includes sales and marketing and print media.

In her current life, Anna is living in Beijing, China where she is studying Chinese language, culture and traditional Chinese medicine. Beijing also serves as the catalyst for her second high-tech start-up as well as the inspiration for her musings which you can view on her blog — Beijing Girl.

Anna profiles inspiring Asian professionals for Asian|Boston Magazine, writing about the Asian experience in America as well as the Asian American experience abroad. Hoon was born in Korea and grew up in Korea and Europe and moved to US while he was a teenager and has been living in Boston since he attended college. Hoon earned degrees in biology and public health at Boston College and Boston University, respectively. He works at a local hospital dealing with regulatory aspect of cancer research studies. His interests are in promoting public health, social justice and inter-cultural exchange. When he finds free time, he likes to travel around the US and abroad.

Rich is a local Bostonian, born & raised in the City. He comes from the business world with undergraduate & master's degrees in finance & has worked in the Financial District for years. He has done some light acting work as well as fashion/print modeling & enjoys fitness, bicycling, & basketball. Zara has been working for WCCA TV13 in Worcester, MA, since September 2002. She has several duties at Channel 13, including being a News Reporter.
